The leaves are turning. The air conditioning is taking a break; the weather outside is just downright perfect. The kids are out of school for a week or two....Fall is finally here!
October is one of our favorite months to make memories with our family. We have compiled our five favorite family-friendly Fall activities in and around our beautiful city of Indianapolis. Check out our list and let us know your favorite place to visit during this autumn season.
Fall Festival (Headless Horseman) at Conner Prairie
When: October 10-13, 17-20, 24-27, 6:00-9:00pm

Cost: Advance tickets: $17 or $21 depending on day/type, FREE for Members, FREE for children under 2
What to do: Haunted hayride with Headless Horseman, 12-acre corn maze, barrel train rides, bounce houses, mini golf, and more!
Waterman's Family Farm Fall Harvest Festival
When: Open Daily 9:00am-6:00pm. Closes at 5:00 on Sundays, limited attractions on Mondays.

What to do: Included with admission: Hayride, pumpkin patch, dinosaur show, cornfield maze, hay bale maze, farm playground, live music, and more! Weekend attractions (for an additional fee) also include animal encounters, pony and camel rides, amusement rides, food vendors, and more!

Ages 1 and under: free
What to do: Learn about farm animals and equipment, visit the 7-acre Corn Maze, Baby Barnyard, Bale Mountain, Human Moosball Foosball, Rope Maze, Corn Crib Play Area, Hayrides, Cornhole Games, Straw Play Area, Pumpkins and Moo Choo Express. What to do: Pick your own Spencer farm-grown pumpkins! Enjoy the hunt all of October with free hayrides out to the (pumpkin patch on the weekends only).
Mount Pleasant Christian Church Fall Fun Fest
